An Easter Moon is special always, but for it to be accompanied by a total lunar eclipse makes it even more extraordinary. Tuesday at 0743 GMT when the Moon is at its most potent is the time to be aware, alert to what is happening within and beyond you. It may be one of the most important days of the year for you.
As the Moon lies in the shadow of Earth, blocked from any access to the Sun, so your own shadow self will be forced to confront itself too. Whether you allow it consciously or not, your fears and wounds and all that holds you back will surface: this lunar marvel of a full eclipse will offer you the chance to release the past, and to transcend all the doubts and struggles associated with being human. You may resist, forget, claim a lack of time or interest, but, if you are reading my words, you will feel the call to change and resistance will be futile as you hear the loving voice of God encouraging you, once again, to bring down the barrier of separation.

Shadows and the Crucifixion[/caption]
The Easter Moon is the first of the three great spiritual festivals. Associated as it is with the death and resurrection of Christ, it remembers another time when a great soul confronted its shadows and transcended them, itself becoming one with the divine while giving the greatest teaching of all about God’s unconditional and constant love for you - a message so much forgotten, even, sometimes, by you. Jesus taught by his example what it means to be human, to be angry, to doubt, to be wise, to be loving, and to suffer. He had his cross to bear, and so in your own way do you.
This eclipsed Full Moon is an Easter gift, encouraging you to see your wounds and hurts with clarity and acceptance, and in the knowledge that in releasing them you transcend your shadows, you see the God within you and meet the God beyond you. Hear God’s loving call, and let go. It is time.
