As the Age of Aquarius emerges with emphasis, it is essential that Earth is cleansed of the negative mental energy of Pisces. This great project is being achieved in different ways in different parts of the world: for the UK it is being done through wind and cleansing water, while in other places it is being achieved through fire, ice and storms.
There will be further planetary movement for there is much energy of the Old Age to purge, and in the chaos now and to come it helps to remember that a golden path leads through it upwards through the stars, the path which is our destiny.
As we approach a Full Moon overshadowed, according to the Ancient Wisdoms, by Aquarius, it is timely to ponder these truths and to remember also that the Moon in Aquarius is about our capacity to feel and to be of and with Spirit. As such it is all about heart, compassion and the wise understanding to recognise when Spirit is calling to us to wake up to the reality of being human and why we are human now, to be reminded of our purpose and service and of our place in the world of Spirit.
The symbol of Spirit is water and so it is for our emotions too – water, the link between how we feel and how we are as soul beings, for how can we be spiritual unless we feel? Water is the link too with Earth, a planet that is mostly water just as we are too.
There is a difference between the feelings of unconditional love and compassion which are the essence of being spiritual, and of feeling emotional. The former come from the heart and have an aspect of objective wisdom about them, while our emotions come from the mind, ego, and originate from fear. In their own way emotions benefit the soul for they are an opportunity to learn and grow, to heal karma and to accumulate more of the light which is essential to the well-being of our soul, but they can be painful too, and damaging.
As we approach this watery, fiery Aquarian Full Moon there are reminders everywhere of its meaning, from the emotional and physical conflicts in Ukraine, Sudan, Iran, Gaza and elsewhere; to fires in Australia and Canada; to the snows and frosts and floods which cover swathes of our lands; to the plight of our polluted turquoise seas; and to our tears, shed and unshed, for ourselves and our planetary home.
This Full Moon encourages us to reflect on what it means for each of us, to question how far we are caught up in our own world of feelings and what those feelings are. It is time to go beyond ourselves and see what really matters, and where we can help.
Moving from one era to another, one cycle to another can be tricky at the best of times, and the present transition away from the past and to our new future must be demonstrably memorable because of its importance. This time of great global storms must not be forgotten or overlooked, for from them come the chance of great change.
The Master of Aquarius will guide us through the storms perfectly. Who better is there to speak on watery matters, and on us?
