Pictures from Curiosity are coming in every minute, some of which have been released publicly already: I was thrilled and awed to see some of them, particularly an image of Mount Sharp, a high silvery mountain in the distance beyond a pitted terrain, and my heart was stirred. Like you, no doubt, my soul has been to Mars to learn and to help sometimes in time of need, as it has to many of our planets, but to have the physicality of Mars united with the third dimensional reality of Earth through technology is extraordinary, and moving.
It is as if Curiosity is a conduit of energy between our world and that of Mars. The rover is positioned on the Red Planet but connected constantly to NASA, and just as energy can be felt through a phone line, so too we may feel the influence of martian spirit through this enterprise – power, strength, determination and force. It will be interesting to observe the play of world events in days and weeks to come against the backdrop of Mars’s presence – and to see if it impacts us personally, which it may well. Old emotions may come forward to be observed and cleared, such as anger, irritation, aggressiveness: a gift of Curiosity, and of Mars, is the opportunity to leave these behind and move on, towards our New Consciousness.]]>
