Yesterday’s new moon in Sagittarius ushered in a lunar cycle to do with infinite limitlessness, and so filled with possibility.
At the level of the human this has been and will continue to be for a while a scratchy period where lots of little (and sometimes big) events create feelings of unease or disturbance, and the unexpected can occur at any time to take us by surprise, like the weather. For me, nothing seems quite real at the moment as day after day I watch a frozen snowy landscape in suspended animation, generating a sense of timelessness and of living in another dimension. It may be that you feel this way too.
While it may seem limiting to be hampered by the weather or external events, it is not, rather, it is liberating, an opportunity at the level of the personality to be creative and enterprising in an effort to overcome whatever restrictions may occur, and to see them for what they are, part of life. They may hold us up temporarily but nothing can stop us from realising our full potential and more, at every level, in the end. This is why it is so important to maintain our awareness of the limitless possibilities that we each have without circumscribing them through finite goal-setting and expectation.
Yes, sometimes we need to plan ahead, but let there always be a clear and far horizon stretching before us, filled with space and opportunity and constantly evolving spiritual adventure. This is what this new moon invites in all of us.
