It is an important time in many ways, and our future direction will be confirmed by what happens in this week; a major cycle of earth learning is coming to an end and tomorrow’s new moon will confirm the fresh beginning. These are exciting, possibly explosive, days.
Meanwhile, as banks totter, states crumble and key politicians focus desperately on the maintenance of the status quo for subjective as well as national gain, there is a human price which is being paid: the Greek people are no better off today as further political and fiscal crises loom following a divided election, and in several other countries including the US and China as well as in Europe, inept political leadership and personal greed, also bad luck, have caused millions of men, women and children to suffer intense hardship.
Another event this week which will not be national news is that I am hosting a meditation retreat in this beautiful place of Wales which I am blessed to call my home. The timing is, of course, perfect, for it will be a spiritual backdrop to the unrest elsewhere. While our focus will be within, those in pain, all over the world, will not be forgotten.]]>
