If you can, if you wish, hold the meaning of this day in your heart. It is the one time in our year that the Buddha returns to Earth to give the blessing of God to humanity through the Christ and the Masters of Light who assemble on a high plateau in the Tibetan Himalayas to call and receive Him. You will be there also, participating in the ritual and ceremony of the occasion, and sipping from the sacred blessed crystal chalice along with all awakened souls, some of whom you will know well.
This is the time when the energy of Spirit is at its closest to Earth, and when it at its most accessible. As the moon has waxed to reach this point over recent days I have felt a peace, a stillness and a strength building up and the warmth of the love of God upon us, overwhelming the negative repercussions from the sad violence and confusion which seems so prevalent now. Light always conquers dark and today, at Wesak, the Light is at its strongest.
Remember, we are in the Age of Light and today is the Day of Light as Buddha, the embodiment of Light, is with you. Feel His love, know His wisdom, and be His Light today and all days.
