The New Consciousness: Bridge between Past and Future

This day, today, in the middle of August, marks the movement from the ending of a 24 thousand year long cycle to the beginning of what truly is the New Age, and as in any rite of passage it may be painful but also joyful. The bottom is falling out of our world, gradually but inexorably, with losses and reminders, emotion and richness, to be replaced by a foundation which will be stronger than ever before, based on human kindness and the embrace of Gaia: this is the new consciousness, and it is here – though yet to come fully into form for global understanding and acceptance. On this major day of culmination, it is unsurprising that further extreme and deadly violence is likely in Egypt, as the many supporters and opponents of the Muslim Brotherhood in other parts of the world watch and wait, ready for action. Al-Qaeda, foiled briefly in Yemen, wait too, to take advantage of the growing regional instability, and meanwhile, increasingly, the planet speaks through volcanic and earthquake activity, with Wellington hit by 2 large tremors this morning. The soup is coming to the boil, the scum and foam spilling over to leave just a pure, nourishing broth which will feed us perfectly. Cleaning up the spillage can be messy and we can be burned, but we know it is necessary, and worth it. Human and animal life has spilled over too, with more to be lost through resistance to change and a determination to have it “my way”, through old anger and tribal patterns, and through ancient karma, personal, national, and planetary, coming to the fore to be resolved now: without the resolution of this karma, the new consciousness cannot survive. Great souls are being released, and so are souls that are young and not awake, and while I see the gifts they give through their human sacrifice, I grieve for the grief of many, and the hurt of the lands that are ravaged. It is our choice for our world to be this way, and only we can heal our world. Spirit, always, always with us, will help but the responsibility is ours: I know, this time, we will not shirk it.
