They were talking about the time, billions of years from now, when our Planet Earth and our Sun will have died and most of the other planets and stars will have gone also. They are saying that at a particular point in time a universe, our Universe, will find a new universe rising from within to begin a new life and then, soon, it will replace its parent. It is an amazing image, like that of a sea from the middle of which emerges a plume of water which fountains up and then engulfs the sea from which it was born. That will be the arrival of a new universe.
What the scientists do not say, as they speak of the rebirth of the Universe, is that while our Earth and Sun and our sister planets may have abandoned their body shells, they live on too in another form; they are reborn, just as you and I come and go time after time, time after time, changing shape and personality every time until we are permitted to cease this endless round. So too it is with the planets of our solar system which we have known before but may not recognise now for what they were before, as we gaze upon their familiar ancient faces, so too with the stars, and with those whom we love. We have known them all before, but have forgotten.
The scientists do not call it reincarnation, this rebirthing process, and they limit the "discovery" to the Universe, but they are confirming and giving credibility to the process of everlasting life which many people have long known but long been ridiculed for. Perhaps the scepticism will cease now or at least be tempered until further proof of reincarnation comes to light, as it will, and soon, and my heart sings to think of it.
