Friday’s Full Moon, All about the Heart

At the beginning of the month I wrote about the first of these moons, saying “This Full Moon is the harbinger of light, a new light that brings not only hope but unity”. It is followed now by a moon where the focus is the heart – your heart, that of humanity and that of God. When your heart is open, you are in your truth and fully self-aware; you are aware too of the community to which you belong, your responsibility to it and your love for it. Above all else you feel the compassion of God for you and all on Earth, and you know the ebb and flow of Spirit within you. This cannot occur without heart, your heart, and the changes within you taking you towards enlightenment derive from the heart of God. While God is everywhere and in everything, symbolically speaking the heart of God lies in the heart of the Sun, from whence comes the warmth and the light that gives our Planet life. It is through the light of the Sun that we receive the strong influences available to us at this Full Moon, and by responding to its energy with awareness and with openness, our ability to do good in the world through the power of our light and our heart will grow.
