Today, wherever you are and wherever you be, open your heart to the land which silently loves you and sing to it your lullaby.
This land, everywhere, mourns the loss of your presence. Yes, your feet touch the ground but when do you notice? So often a barrier of concrete blinds you to the earth that lies beneath, earth and history smothered and supressed by the demands of Man. Who noticed?The land that loves you silently cries for you, its beloved child which has forgotten. You are part of it, bound to it, and your heart and your spirit belong to it. It has been your refuge and sanctuary over aeons and your soul journey has depended upon it. Once you knew and honoured your land, once it was the central pillar of your life without which you would be nothing. What place does it hold in your heart now?
The energies and life and love that you shared, you and the land, were of a nature that was no less than divine, a union created and blessed by God. Duality is born when that union dies and it can only die when your choice is to separate from the land which loves you. It was your choice, and the land cries out to you now for a different choice, a choice to remember once again the loving partner beneath your feet and embrace it in your heart as once you did before.
Let this be your lullaby to the land – read these words and respond, if you can, if you will, in the way that is yours to do and to be. Hear its call, notice, and remember.
