The Unravelling of Time

.......the heartbeat of nature

At the beginning of time on earth there was no time: all there was was the constant present moment that was the pulse of spirit, the heartbeat of nature and divine life.  Intuition and the seasons guided by the rhythms of the cosmos fulfilled the role now given to time, which is why Master Time, a hard task-master invented by man, is the great separator of man from God.

It is hard to imagine the world without man-made time.  Time is a gift to our lower minds because it traps us in the past and the future, but without time there is only the present.  When we are constantly in the moment our connection to Spirit and our mental well-being are at their strongest along with the bliss of the everything of nothingness.

If time was just the constant present, imagine how world events might be very different from what and how they are now.  Wars would be slower to start, grudges would not be held, personal and community survival and well-being would be the priority, there would be no plotting or planning, no blaming or hating - how simple life would be.

There is nothing to stop us living less by the clock and more for the intuitive moment, but it is hard work to avoid the controlling pace of our frenetic world.  Little thought is given to life without time as we have made it and so when the time comes when it is gone, the shock will be enormous.  And it will go.

With no past and no future to remember or anticipate will come our freedom.  Without mental distraction our ability to focus, to know, to communicate and act will be great; psychic gifts will increase and the sense of spirit in our lives will be constant.  Everything will flow beautifully and well.  There will be nothing to fear.

The path to greatness stretches before us as we do our best to navigate a tricky world made complex by the rigours of time.  As we await the changes to come, anticipate them by playing with time, making it your subject not your master as you practise living in the present.

Rejoice in the unravelling of time.

  1. A beautiful reflection on the fluid nature of time. It reminds me how mindfulness helps us embrace each moment rather than feeling lost in its unraveling. Thought-provoking read!
