Trump, and the Law of Manifestation

2016 is the year of preparation for great events, and any event of potential significance is likely to have a contrary outcome: this feature of life will continue for some time to come – we saw it in the Brexit result in June and in America this week, and we will see more such political and social jolts in the months and years ahead. It is a time to hold ourselves tight in trust, to expect the unexpected and to know that ultimately all will be well. It is important to allow the patterns of change to flow unimpeded. Already strong resistance to the Brexit outcome has manifested in attempts to delay or derail the decisive vote for change made by a majority of Britons, and it is likely that the promises of radical reform to an outdated and unfair system by a maverick president-elect, the basis of his manifesto, will be blocked wherever possible by vested interest groups wanting continuity of a status quo which benefits them and not the majority of the people. A battle between the past and the future is going on all over the world, and the casualties are common-sense and fairness. The more we deny change, the more painful the battle will be. Its outcome, however, is inevitable. Donald Trump claims to be a catalyst for change, and he seems clear about what he believes needs to be altered. Having observed him for 15 months in his fight to become president, I have been struck by his total attention to his ambition, and to his agenda. Someone close to him said that having made his decision to run as the unlikeliest and loneliest of candidates, everything he thought about or did was from that time in pursuit of this aim, and it was through having clear vision, drive and absolute focus that he achieved it. He was using the Law of Manifestation, and using it well. While many people do not agree with Trump’s ideas nor like his persona, his methodology and success are good examples of how we too can bring about the outcome we want – if it is for the highest good. Donald Trump is a vehicle for change when the world needs change, and you and I can be the same by creating and manifesting our own vision of our new world. Be clear about how you want it to be, and work towards it every day. Let it be good. Meanwhile, as fearful controversy about Trump’s election to president grows, pre-judgment and negativity before he has taken office are unhelpful, as they would have been in reverse if Hillary Clinton had succeeded in her bid instead of him. She was graceful in defeat and wished him well. As I hold my own vision of a changed world, which may be rather different from his, I wish him well too.   (Image by Thierry Ehrmann)   [byline]  ]]>
