Vision at the Frost Full Moon

In esoteric lore this Full Moon, the Frost Moon, is governed by Sagittarius, the sign of the archer firing his arrow straight and fast into the heart of his target to achieve his goal.  As, now, you enter the final battle between clarity and clouds of confusion, ice and fire, his aim, your aim, is centred on the mind which is the last obstacle to your spiritual evolution, the hugely powerful and destructive vehicle that controls you insidiously and persistently.  It is only when you sleep or are unconscious that your mind is dormant, otherwise it controls how you think, feel and are; it controls your life.

This Frost Moon, brooding, watchful, and knowing, has assembled its forces to help you understand and overcome the dominance of your mind once and for all, for when you are able to disregard its control you are free to find the mind of your soul, your true, visionary mind. An accomplished archer shoots not just into his target, but to reveal a new, prized goal hidden beyond:  if you aim the arrow of Sagittarius at the tendrils of mental chaos which comprise your lower mind, not only will you defeat your greatest enemy, but you will find the secret to your spiritual and personal well-being.  You will find your goal.  This icy Sagittarian moon is much needed by our world at this time.

While everything is always about you, and about everything, the challenge of the mind is very relevant now not just for you but for all humanity and far beyond as we move away from the Piscean era of rationality, mental authority and control, to the Aquarian age of higher consciousness and spiritual alignment, the time when the Christ can and will return.  The struggle as Pisces strives unsuccessfully to maintain his dominance is visible in current world events particularly relating to Coronaviruses, in the arguments between competing priorities of freedom or restriction, fiscal control or well-being, truth or pretence, short-termism or vision. 

Vision, the hallmark of Sagittarius, is important always, but especially now.  One of the difficulties for world and local leaders struggling to deal with a situation that they do not understand and that is beyond their control is that they are seeing it as a problem to resolve mentally and on a short term basis.  Because it is seen through the prism of fact and action for results tomorrow, confused too by political imperatives, vacillating decisions are being made which may be regretted later and which may create unforeseen damage.  There is no vision to inspire and lead the people with trust and hope, no light to follow, and church leaders are as lacking in this will to good as politicians, well-meaning though they all may be.

At any time of major change or crisis, without vision we are left with uncertainty and often fear.  Without vision there is no hope, and without vision the world suffers.  You are part of a group of visionary activists whose task it is to hold the vision of the new world and to remind humanity through your words, deeds and prayers of that vision.  Sagittarius is about the higher mind and goals, about vision, and his influence is strong and timely.

So, at this special time of this special Frost Full Moon of November 2020, focus your mind like an arrow and let nothing deflect you from your goals and your vision of the new Heaven on Earth.  Do not allow yourself to be deflected by the mental temptations of desire nor self-pity, fear nor weakness, but allow space to enter where your mind once ruled to enable your vision to encompass all your life.  Only when there is an everyday, constant, unforced mental abstinence can you hear the wisdom of your true mind, and see God’s truth all around and within you, ever clearer as the Age of Aquarius advances.
