Yesterday’s full moon is governed by Virgo*, the sign of darkness, mystery and mysticism and the sign too of progress.

Virgo is the sign which epitomises the eighth month in a nine month cycle, the time when the birth is close, tangible but not quite imminent, when there is discomfort and physical challenge, and when there is a sense of anticipation and the knowledge that most of what was necessary has been achieved. All there is to be done now is to be ready and to wait as best we can for what is to come. Look around the world now and see – how ready is the world?
Just as there is mystery and mysticism associated with the gestation of a human child, so there is great magic abroad today as we await through and with the Moon the birth of the New Consciousness, within each of us, within the group of Man, within Gaia and far beyond. This is a full moon, certainly, to remember and to celebrate.
