Rebirth, so important at this time, is about you, too. It is about your relationship with the world and with Spirit, and how ready you are to put behind you what no longer serves, however uncomfortable or painful it may be. It is about you and Earth, and how committed you are to her well-being, and your doing something about it, however detrimental to your comfort it may be.
The full moon in July always raises questions within, though often the questions are ignored or unanswered as being too difficult or boring. Who wants to let go of what is convenient, or at least easier than the alternative? As this decade of revolution advances, the questions become more tricky because they are deeper and yet more impossible to ignore, for they are about your existence.
Your soul cannot be released to fly to its freedom without you who are its vehicle of expression and of growth. As a human being, no longer can you survive without an agreement with your soul and a compromise with Gaia to help both to thrive, for that is what you are here to do. It is easy to forget that your purpose and service relate absolutely to helping the God that constitutes your soul and your Planet.
You are made from the elements of Earth and imbued with the spirit of the cosmos. To honour both facts of your life will help both you and Earth: you can achieve this best by changing the meaning of materialism, remembering that by using the material of Earth and beyond kindly, you are releasing the soul of Earth and the soul of you from the material. The material exists still, but in a form that is light and joyous, as are you.
This transmutation of the material is essential for the elevation of the Planet to a status that is sacred. It is essential also for you.
As the full moon approaches, you may wish to ask yourself if you are willing to let go of the ghosts of the past, of people and places whose work with you is done? Above all, are you willing to release yourself from the materialism of your life and your world, and to learn to use the material well?
The choice is yours – but there is no choice really, is there? It is your next rebirth, and it is here, now.
