The Clues in Norway’s Rays

Just as each of us is governed by a particular dominant Ray of cosmic energy, so too are the different countries of our world, including Norway.

There is significance in all that occurs, but some events and synchronicities have greater implications than others, as demonstrated by the notorious events in Norway recently. It is no coincidence that a series of violent attacks, focused on hurting children, was perpetrated on a peaceful nation which is governed at the level of the human by the Fourth Ray of Harmony through Conflict. This Ray is also the governing Ray of the Planet, and its effects are being felt constantly as individually and collectively we are being shaken out of a past state of complacency into a new place of peace – but the enormity of the change and the resistance of humanity can make the transition painful.

This is why we are living through an era of challenge and often discord as cultures and belief systems clash. Ego fights meekness, materialism fights altruism, man fights the environment, countries fight each other, anarchy fights peace, resistance fights acceptance, the old fights the new: it is like great tectonic plates rubbing up each other creating friction as they do. In case we forget that the ways of the past are obsolete, reminders of an unmistakeable nature are being presented to us more and more frequently, the most recent, of course, being the violence in and around Oslo. In the context of the Rays, Norway is the microcosm of the macrocosm and through her shared pain she has given us great gifts of learning about our choices and responsibilities.

Norway’s soul Ray happens to be Ray Two, the Ray of teaching and healing which is perfect for this situation. Just as she teaches us and will heal, we can help that healing process through the love that flows to her from all corners of the globe. The Norwegian perpetrator of the killings has played his part in this too; he cannot be forgotten because of the enormity of his actions, but there is reason for compassion for him also, however much we may deplore the grief and the hurt that he has caused.  Who are we to judge, in the greater scheme of things?
