It is a concept that is hard to articulate and even harder for many people to understand and then believe – and of course it is the right of each of us to believe what we want to accept as true. Confronting an inconvenient truth can be hard and often it is easier to look the other way, making the illusion the reality rather than the other way round.
An increasingly important part of my work is about giving to those who care to hear, what I know. It is not (I hope) about my ego, or requiring people to accept what I say: rather, it is about giving you ideas to think about in the hope that they will help you expand your own database of spiritual knowledge, which may be very different from mine. Our world is changing rapidly, and a more visionary approach than is usual will make the process more comfortable, and certainly more interesting.
The two worlds to which I referred earlier are, firstly, the human world you see and live in every day, and secondly the vast world of Spirit. The world of Spirit is your home, the place where your soul belongs. It is an amazingly complex structure, multi-layered and infinite and peopled by angels, archangels, archetypes, ancestors, spirit animals, and mythical beings. We cannot begin to comprehend the sophistication of this vast cosmic world, operating through intricate sacred design and with an astronomical skill of a nature unfathomable to man, but we can know it is there.
Not only does it exist and is very real, but also it is the creator, and ultimately the controller, of the experiment that is our third dimensional life on Earth. In As You Like It, Shakespeare wrote “All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players”. It is true. Many people see it as being a reflection on the seven ages of man and on death, but Shakespeare, a shaman and a visionary, was writing about how, as in a play, we are acting out a part in any lifetime against a backdrop that is that other world. In a blink of an eye the play, your life, is done and disappeared, leaving behind the true reality of a spiritual realm that never dies.
For some people, aware of the true reality beyond, the human world has a dreamlike quality to it all the time, and it can be a struggle to remain grounded and to play the part you chose for this lifetime. It is important that you do so, however, in order to help the success of the performance, for the sake of your soul and for the great Plan of God.
So, focus on your part and on playing it well, but remember that the real world exists outside this Earth theatre, and that you can return there whenever you choose.
