The Mystery of the Super Blue Blood Full Moon

If you have eyes to see and the wisdom to understand, the evidence and its meaning of these events are clear. It is no coincidence that we are living through a major eclipse cycle that will end one year from now, and that this week brings a Super Blue Blood Full Moon to our skies, the first time in more than 150 years that an astrological configuration involving simultaneously a total lunar eclipse, a Blue, or second monthly, Full Moon, and a rare closeness to Earth will occur. The messages from the gods are loud: it is up to us if we choose to hear. Your heart may ache with anticipatory wonder and nostalgia for what has been as you feel ever more strongly the pull as Earth breaks free from the anchor that has held her in her secular place since time began, to soar to new dimensions that will be her home until she is called forward onto a new journey many aeons from now. The suns and stars and planets of our protective solar system are aligning themselves in a majestic spiritual dance of rhythm and ritual, designed by great hands and minds of Light for this time of planetary transcendence. Every eclipse, every Full Moon, every extraordinary event of which we are privileged witnesses is one more movement to take us to a new destination and spiritual state. It is the Plan of God in action. We are more than witnesses, we are participants too. This week’s Super Blue Blood Full Moon and the eclipse cycle more broadly signifies major shifts in the balance of power at every level. Our Planet is beginning her claim for spiritual status within the Universe of which she is presently a part, and humanity is being challenged to determine how we use our power, how it should be and where it should be; this year of eclipses and powerful moons will see politicians come and go, power changing hands surprisingly and rapidly, with the status quo being impossible to maintain. Our ideas and ethics will be questioned, and the balance of power may begin to be seen as being within the gentle and the peaceful, not the loud and the aggressive. The qualities of Moon and Sun, feminine and masculine, may be strengthened and softened, altered but ever more influential on all that make Earth their home. This is a time of zenith and nadir, where the best and the worst of humanity will be visible to enable each of us to choose what sort of a person we wish to be. It is our chance to redeem our soul, to give it what it needs and calls out for in its longing to be part of the great spiritual adventure of which we are a part. The Super Blue Blood Full Moon is a reminder and a gift, a promise and a warning. Respect Her energy, and the Moon Goddess, so close to you physically and spiritually this week, will reach down to you and touch you with her light and love, and power.
