These mysterious words, channelled by Alice Bailey in Esoteric Astrology with reference to the Full Moon in Taurus, merit serious contemplation as we approach, on Tuesday, a Pink Supermoon on what is for many people the most important day in the spiritual calendar. The Festival of Wesak marks the birth, enlightenment and death of Lord Buddha, and it is the day when, at the exact time of the Full Moon, He returns to Earth to give us His blessing.
I have written before about the great ceremony that takes place in the mountains of Tibet, when all awakened souls gather with the Masters of the Spiritual Hierarchy to invoke His presence through ritual, sound and movement and to receive and transmit the Buddhic blessing through the world. You are there, always, and you are important: not only are you helping the Plan of God but your remembering and participation augments the Light.
Your contribution this year is of particular significance.
In 2021 there will be two Supermoons only, one falling on 27th April, Wesak, and the other on 26th May which is the day of the Christ Festival, the last of three key spiritual festivals and which invokes the human will-to-good. It is no coincidence and very appropriate that the Supermoons, bigger and brighter than any other moons, will occur at such auspicious times. The second will be more emphatic, and additionally will be in Eclipse, but each will be a call to you to expand your Light, just as the Moons are doing in parallel with you and just as all beings of Light are doing too.
The essence of Spirit is Light. The Cosmic Rays represent aspects of Light, and the Fourth Ray, Harmony through Conflict, will be strong at Wesak. It is the Ray which has been governing Earth and humanity for thousands of years, and it is coming to its climax of influence now as the struggle between personal desire and altruism, dark and light, good and evil begin to come to an inevitable conclusion as Earth, thanks to you, begins her ascent to the Light. Harmony comes from conflict always; Light always wins.
It is time for your eyes to be opened, it is time for you to see, and it is time for you to know the Light in everything. No-one can do it for you, and to do nothing means nothing will happen and your world will be diminished. You are needed by God.
What can you do?
You can do no wrong, but choose wisely. Look for the Light on the darkest day, and see the Light that shines in everyone. See the Light properly, see where and how it falls and observe the Rays within the Light. As you witness conflict, invoke the harmony that lies beneath with all your heart. Celebrate Wesak with all your soul in the company of your spiritual peers, and take the blessing of Buddha into yourself and into the world.
All is Light.
(The esoteric teachings that I follow say that Wesak falls when the Moon is full in Taurus. Other traditions will celebrate Wesak on 26th May this year.)
