Another way of describing reincarnation is spiritual renaissance, when you are reborn physically and your soul has another opportunity to evolve through karmic opportunity and experience on earth. Just as renaissance is a word of positivity and hope, often associated with creativity, so it is with rebirth.
Look at yourself now, as you read these words: see how you are by way of personality, qualities, frailties, mind, emotion, and - if you can - soul. Reflect on the Spirit guides and great Beings who help you constantly on your human journey which is your soul journey too, for they are a reflection of you and your state of spiritual being. See yourself with honesty and without judgment, with acceptance and with pride, for who and what you are now is the summation of all your past lives. Every part of you reflects an achievement from before, somewhere, whether it was a learning from a hundred years ago or one thousand years ago. You are your past and also your future, though what matters is your present.Renaissance can occur in life as well as after death, and this new era is remarkable for how often this is happening. I have seen it in clients and friends, where profound soul shifts are noticeable, and it is occurring too in the human family as the fundamental structures which have bound us together for millennia are falling away, however hard are the efforts to maintain the status quo: it cannot be done, the process of rebirth is inexorable.
For a moment, then, remember that this is your spiritual renaissance too and that the outcome of the renewal is shaped by the Law of Karma as applied by you. While every past life experience is you have ever known is within you, in each moment you determine your future by your actions in the present. What is wonderful is that, with Spirit within you and beside you, you cannot get it wrong.
